- Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and resourced contractor to work with TRC Waste Services to provide, as a minimum, the specified services in maintaining existing weighbridges at Council waste management facilities. Council's intent is to engage a specialist contractor with capacity and capability to undertake all maintenance and calibration services identified and detailed in the specification. The contractor will be required to: - Repair, maintain, calibrate and certify existing weighbridges currently in operation at Council waste facilities. TRC is seeking to form a long term agreement with a suitable firm to achieve the following objectives: - Ongoing maintenance, accuracy and operation of existing weighbridges at Council waste facilities;- Realise resource savings by avoiding resource hungry procurement processes;- Realise financial savings by including economy of scale, having consistent delivery standards and providing increased confidence in delivery times.
