Description:
The contract is for the winning and crushing of gravel from Councils gravel quarries for the year commencing on the 1st July, 2025 and terminating on the 30th June 2026. The tender is to be submitted in three parts: -A. Winning, crushing and stockpiling of won quarry material in Council-s Class A gravel quarries on a per m3 rate, producing a 20mm to 40mm minus crushed gravel (full service). Resulting crushed gravel stockpiles are to be limited to a maximum height of 6 metres. B. Winning and crushing and stockpiling by means of blasting from Councils Class A gravel quarries on a per m3 rate, producing a 20mm to 40mm minus crushed gravel (full service). Resulting crushed gravel stockpiles are to be limited to a maximum height of 6 metres. C. Crushing of quarry material won by others in Council-s Class A gravel quarries on a per m3 rate, producing a 20mm to 40mm minus crushed gravel (part service). Resulting crushed gravel stockpiles are to be limited to a maximum height of 6 metres. Details of quarries including class and location are included in Appendix 8.
