- The Rottnest Island Authority (Ria) Is Seeking To Appoint An Experienced And Licensed Single Contractor To Provide Disposal And Recovery Of Waste Services From The Island. This Will Include:(A) The Leasing Of Disposal Bins For The Management Of General Waste, Co-Mingled Recycling, Bio Waste, Hazardous Waste And Other Waste;(B) The Collection Of Disposal Bins Transported To The Perth Mainland By The Island Barge Operator, And Delivery Of Empty Disposal Bins For Transportation To The Island;(C) Transportation Of Disposal Bins To Agreed Licenced Facilities For Recovery, And Where Items Cannot Be Recovered, For Disposal.
