Description:
Penrith City Council is seeking proposals for the hire of specialised plant (spider type/ long reach type) with an operator (wet hire) to undertake uneven terrain (open drain) mowing and clearing works on an as required basis for a period of Three (3) years with an option to extend two (2) x one (1) year periods by mutual agreement, subject to satisfactory performance. Mowing open drains and steep embankments and clearing debris and sediment within waterways. Undertake removal and/or mulching of selected vegetation within the confines of the drainage easement. Non-tracked walking excavator to be used to minimise the footprint on ecosystems in wet and boggy conditions.
