Description:
Council is seeking to engage a panel of suitably qualified and experienced offerors under a preferred supplier arrangement for the following:• supply of turf (various grass types) which may include watering, backfilling and topdressing;• supply and install turf (various types); o products which may include:? turf rolls;? turf slabs;? reinforced turf;? grass seed/turf sprigging; • pick up and/or delivery of turf and/or grass seed.Please note that this contract does not include maintenance such as grass mowing.Council requires all turf supplied to be acclimatised to the conditions of the Toowoomba Region.Where council requires the supply of sprigging, the successful offerors may be requested to sprig and this will be performed on an ad-hoc basis and quotations will be requested for individual projects.Currently council spends approximately $150,000 per annum for turf and sprigging. This figure is offered for guidance only. Council makes no representation that this volume is guaranteed under this contract. Council reserves the right to seek quotations outside of this contract for large projects. Council considers large projects to be 2500m2 and above.
