Description:
Toowoomba Regional Council is one of Australia-s medium scale water and sewerage service providers. Council currently provides water and sewerage services to over sixty-four thousand (64k) customers across a service area comprising the region from north of Yarraman to south-west of Millmerran and includes the city of Toowoomba. Council has approximately 300 water and wastewater sites across the region which include treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, bores, communication and instrumentation sites. Council is currently undertaking a significant project to upgrade or replace the control system at each of its network sites over the next 6 years. In addition to this project, Council is continuously working to deliver new infrastructure to accommodate population growth throughout the region.Council has issued this request for offer with the objectives of establishing a long term preferred supplied arrangement with suitably skilled suppliers who will be utilised for ICS programming and integration during this term. This request for offer provides a high-level summary of key activities that would be completed and the skills and experience required for each activity. Council does not guarantee any work under this engagement. Projects involving ICS integration works which also require electrical or construction activities may be awarded under other procurement arrangements.
