Description:
Council requires the services of multiple event equipment rental contactors to meet the hire needs of various activities including Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers each September which may include but are not limited to: • Festival fit out (50+ stallholder sites, demonstration/display structures and staging, general seating - 5,000-10,000 capacity)• Outdoor dinners and luncheons (50-500 people)• Park infrastructure locations (small marquee structures in 5 CBD locations)• Outdoor seating and flooring with marquee shade structures (500 people).Due to the nature of events throughout the year, there will be times when the contractor will be required to work on weekends, public holidays, early mornings and late evenings. The equipment needs for each event are dependent on the event, its scale and expected attendance. Examples of equipment hired for past events have included:• Marquees of various sizes and styles depending on event;• Large event marquees (clear roof, flexible structures);• Weight for marquees;• Dividers for marquees;• Flooring for marquees and seating areas;• Tables and chairs;• Styling and comfort (heaters, umbrellas); and• Lighting and safety equipment;
