Description:
Toowoomba Region Libraries operate twelve physical branches and a mobile library offering a range of services to the region-s residents. The branches differ in size and usage levels with Toowoomba City Library being the largest and busiest branch servicing both city and regional residents.Toowoomba Region Libraries uses a range of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) equipment to streamline circulation processes for customers and staff. This equipment includes an AMH&S system in the Toowoomba City Library that is used to return and sort borrowed items and to assist staff in managing internal work processes. The City Library AMH&S system has now reached end-of-life.Offers are being sought for the provision of an appropriate AMH&S system, and responses to this RFO should address the following areas:- Supply, installation and commissioning of a replacement AMH&S, including all hardware and software, including provision of operating procedures documentation and staff training.- Ongoing support and maintenance.
