- The scope of works is to upgrade the existing 4-way intersection of Stuart Highway, Warrego Road and Kaczinsky Road including:Realignment of Warrego Road and Kaczinsky Road and constructed two new staggered T-intersections with the Stuart Highway.Channelised left and right turn lanes at the new T-intersections.Street lightingThis project forms part of the Road Safety Program and will improve the safety of the intersections, while supporting current and potential future mining activity in the region.Construction works are proposed to commence in the 2026 dry season.
