Description:
The Customer requires the Supplier to : · In consultation with the office of the NHMRC, design an appropriate plan for stakeholder engagement. · Convene a series of roundtables in every State/Territory Capital city, designed to capture input from urban, regional, rural and remote entities, which will ensure representation across all states and territories of Australia. Discussions will be framed around; - the draft version of the revised Statement, and - implementation practices. Discussion on the implementation of consumer and community involvement in health and medical research has not been a requirement of this project to date and will not be in the revised Statement. However, the importance of practical guidance to stakeholders has been highlighted throughout the feedback already received. Consultations on implementation issues will be used to guide the next steps following publication of the revised Statement. · Utilise existing networks of consumer and community representatives, researchers and research funders, across urban, regional, rural and remote areas of Australia; where practicable venues should be at no or low cost, for example held at the premises of the service provider, or local community halls etc. The Customer will cover reasonable costs associated with travel requirements of the Supplier as part of convening workshops. The Supplier should detail these costs in their Response to this Approach to Market.
