Description:
The Department of Tourism and Hospitality (DTH) are seeking to engage a Contractor who is able to provide an All-Hours Snake Call-Out Service in Alice Springs Northern Territory (NT).The Contractor will be expected to liaise closely with Parks and Wildlife and continue to deliver the DTH message of “Living with Wildlife” and shall provide a professional direct response call-out service to Alice Springs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week including weekends and Public Holidays. The Contractor will require a Permit to Take Protected Wildlife and will be required to show evidence of the ability to identify reptiles and an understanding of and the ability to apply appropriate welfare practices regarding the capture, husbandry, euthanasia and release of animals taken from the wild.Reporting on animals that are retained for the purpose of display, to keep or sale, and submission of return information for all animals taken will be required.
