Description:
Rockhampton Regional Council (Council), requires replacement of five switchboards at various small sewer pumping stations. The current switchboards are nearing or are at the end of their usable life and require upgrading. All five of the existing sewer pump stations are located outdoors and consist of a switchboard adjacent to the sewerage pump station. The pump stations have varying pump arrangements ranging from 0.7 kW to 15 kW. Additionally, the project requires civil works, including the construction of reinforced concrete slabs, building metallic platforms and stairways on three SPS sites to elevate electrical switchboards 500mm above the Q100 flood level, and the installation of a new vent/light pole with flood lights on three sites. Council is therefore seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor who will enter into an agreement to carry out the works.
