Description:
Fitzroy River Water (FRW), a business unit of Rockhampton Regional Council (Council), is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide all labour and materials to carry out the following works at the Fitzroy River Barrage (‘Barrage-):• Renewal of seventeen (17) barrage winch central drive units.The works assigned under this contract must be fit for the purposes described in the tender documentation and is for the supply of all labour, plant, equipment and materials for the supply, delivery, storage, and transport associated with the design, supply and installation of the new Barrage winches, as well as the overhaul / repair of the existing Barrage winches.Council may opt to replace all barrage winch central drive units, refurbish all barrage winch central drive units or a combination of options 1 and 2 depending on cost, condition etc.All works must comply with the applicable standards, specifications, code of practice and regulations.
