Description:
Torres Strait Island Regional Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the St Pauls, Kubin & Erub Water Network Management Program.The scope of works specific to this project includes: • Undertake a preliminary site investigation to confirm location, material, and size of water mains at all locations shown in the attached document: Sketch 1 - Preliminary Network Investigation. • Liaising with TSIRC Engineering Department to finalize the number and location of all new valves and hydrants to be installed. • Liaise with TSIRC Operations Staff to coordinate water supply shutoffs for each stage of the installations. • Undertake protection works to existing underground assets of TSIRC and other authorities. • Excavate, supply, and install valves, hydrants, and associated fittings. • Make good all areas disturbed by the project activities. • Remove of all waste materials of site (including all replaced valves and hydrants) to a mainland facility.
