- Sixth Social and Economic Impact Study of Gambling in Tasmania
Tenders will be sought for the services of an appropriately qualified consultant (or consortium of consultants/researchers) to undertake a Social and Economic Impact Study of Gambling in Tasmania in 2025, as required under the Gaming Control Act 1993. Local industry participation is encouraged.The scope of this Study is to: Provide an analysis of key trends and comparison of Tasmania with other states and territories, including, but not limited to: an update of the gambling industry structure and characteristics; changes and trends in gambling behaviour; and revenue. Undertake a gambling prevalence study to enable comparisons with previous Tasmanian prevalence studies.
