Description:
The scope of the Works for each Contract that may be awarded under the Standing Offer includes the quality assurance, design, manufacture, factory testing, delivery to site (DDP), site erection, site testing and making good of defects during the Defects Liability Period of each type of shunt capacitor bank, for various transmission system requirements. The following spares shall be supplied for each item as a part of each Contract:a) Three (3%) percent of capacitor cans installed in each Capacitor Bank.b) One (1) Neutral Current Transformer.c) Other spares recommended by the manufacturer.The range of shunt capacitor banks covered by this Invitation to Tender, and which may be required during the term of the Standing Offer are as listed in Table 8.1A and 8.1B - Summary of Key Technical Requirements, Section 2 of this Invitation to Tender, which includes the full technical requirements of the shunt capacitor banks. In addition to the requirements specified in Table 8.1A and 8.1B, Powerlink may invite tenders for air-cored reactors, harmonic filters with or without a harmonic study and damping resistors for Powerlink-s transmission network and customer connections.
