Description:
The National Capital Authority (NCA) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant to provide Safety and Surveillance Services, including the provision of specialist advice and recommendations to the National Capital Authority (the NCA) on dam safety management at Scrivener Dam. An important aspect of this service is to fill the role of Dam Safety Engineer for Scrivener Dam (the Services). The Dam Safety and Surveillance Service Provider (the Service Provider) will be the principal source of technical advice to the NCA on dam safety. The Service Provider shall ensure that it is fully informed on the safety status of the dam at all times, based on its ongoing evaluation of dam safety data by experienced dam safety engineers, complemented by other technical advice as is required. The Service Provider shall report routinely to the NCA in relation to ongoing surveillance and be proactive in ensuring that advice on the safety of the dam is provided to the NCA in a timely manner. If the Service Provider considers that the NCA should take action in relation to a dam safety issue arising from any source, a report and recommendation for action, within a timeframe and in a form appropriate to the issue, should be made to the NCA.
