Description:
Cloncurry Shire Council (CSC), the principal, seeks to upgrade Scarr Street (Sheaffe to Station Street), one of the main streets in the town of Cloncurry, in order to renew existing aged infrastructure. The project will upgrade all existing aged services assets, provide public domain beautification, and position Scarr Street for improved events activation and tourism appeal. The scope for the upgrading of Scarr Street consists of but not limited to the following:(a) Separable Portion 1 (Lump Sum): All civil works including demolitions, installation of Ergon conduits, installation of pad mount and Ring main unit UNI Culverts, installation of utilities, lighting poles, ergon change over for property owners, construction of a new asphalt road pavement, roundabout with line marking and road signage, construction of a new concrete footpaths and foundations for all the above ground structures including the installation of baseplates .(b) Separable Portion 2 (Provisional Sums): All above ground structures which includes steel car shade structures, footpath awnings, picnic structure, information plaza, street entry structure, Landscaping trees, Street furniture, Feature signage, Artwork, CCTV system, audio-visual system, and Telstra pits adjustment.
