Description:
Riverina Water is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors to construct concrete footings for a new aeration basin cover at North Wagga. The North Wagga Aeration basins were covered in 2009 with shade cloth supported by external columns and cables. The cover was damaged during a storm event. Many of the seams failed and the cover is now ineffective and damaged beyond repair. Riverina Water engaged Xeros Piccolo to design the cover structure and Aitken Rowe to complete the geotechnical investigation. Riverina Water is now seeking tenders to construct the concrete piers for the structure. Contractors are invited to provide a lump sum proposal for the concrete piers. The aim of this engagement is for the contractor to construct the concrete piers. Riverina Water plan to assemble the frame of the structure and install the new cover.
