Description:
The Rainbow Beach Sewer Master Plan commissioned in 2019 highlighted the shortfalls within the Rainbow Beach Sewer Reticulation System. One of these was the lack of retention times for sewer pump station (SPS) R2. Given the length of time it takes maintenance crews to mobilise and get to site from Gympie and the proximity to pristine nature reserves this was deemed a critical issue to be addressed by Council.
