- Tenders are invited for the construction of all works required to complete the Gympie Civic Centre Remediation Project. For this project a two-stage selection process will be undertaken as outlined in Schedule 3 below. Tenders will be considered for the establishment of two contracts:1.Early Contractor Involvement (ECI);2.Construction Works.It is Council-s intention to complete an ECI phase of scope and constructability review with the contractor prior to entering into a contract for the construction works. Works required to complete the remediation of the Civic Centre include:•Replacement and/or upgrading to building services including: mechanical, electrical and ICT, hydraulics, AV and specialist theatrical, specialist lighting, security and an emergency generator•Fitout of nominated furnishings including seating and acoustics finishes•Floor, wall and ceiling finishes and fittings including acoustics finishes and walls•Upgrades to building amenities including office accommodation, toilets, showers, dressing rooms, and•Installation of passive and active fire services.
