Description:
BACKGROUNDWagga Wagga City Council (Council) intend to stabilise the Lake Albert Foreshore to prevent erosion and improve water quality within the lake. Council has identified a method of improvement with minimal environmental impact that will provide long term stability to embankments. Some work has been undertaken in previous years, with the outstanding sections targeted for completion under this project.The Scope of Works under this RFT aims to complete a total of 2,470m of embankment stabilisation and stormwater outlet rehabilitation, with a mix of rock and sand stabilisation bags and replacement of stormwater pipe and headwalls.SCOPE OF THE WORKThe work covered under this Contract shall include the works as specified on the design drawings included as Attachment A - IFT Drawings and the following Specification.The Contractor shall provide the following overall deliverables under this Contract:• Preconstruction Works• Construction Works• Testing of Works; and• Work As Executed Drawings.PRE-TENDER BRIEFING:A non-compulsory Pre-tender Meeting will be held on Tuesday 25th March at 10:30AM at the Council Meeting Room, Wagga Wagga City Council Civic Centre, 243 Baylis St, Wagga Wagga.Please confirm your attendance by email prior to the meeting: procurement@wagga.nsw.gov.au The following files have been attached to this request:Part A RFT CT2025070 Lake Albert Foreshore RemediationPart B1 Tender Return Forms (Word format)Part B2 Returnable Schedules - Lake Albert Foreshore Reme...
