Description:
Wagga Wagga City Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced engineering consultant to undertake Detailed Design for the upgrade of the North Wagga Levee system to protect against a 5% AEP event.The purpose of the project is to complete Detailed Design for the North Wagga Levee upgrade to provide increased flood protection up to a 5% Annual Exceedance Probability (AEP) flood level and to develop mitigation options for approximately 25 houses outside the levee system that are adversely impacted by the levee raising.The project and the detailed design will provide flood security up to the 5 % AEP flood for the village of North Wagga by upgrading the existing levees with appropriate freeboard considerations consistent with the NSW Floodplain Development Manual. As part of the engagement, plans, specifications, construction methodology and cost estimates will be created by the consultant.A non-compulsory site meeting will be held for this RFT.
