RFT 2526 Waverley Park Entrance, Bus Shelter Restoration and LandscapingPlease refer to all RFT documents attached on VendorPanel.Waverley Council invites qualified contractors to submit quotations for the upgrading of the entrance to Waverley Park on Bondi Road. This project involves the careful restoration and relocation of a heritage-listed tram shed, along with associated landscape works to enhance accessibility, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of this important community space.The tram shed, listed as a local heritage item (Item 149) on Schedule 5 of the Waverley LEP, will be respectfully relocated to address current operational challenges while preserving its historical significance and original function as a public transport shelter. A statement of Heritage Impact (SoHI) has been prepared by an external Heritage Consultant (Heritage21) in relation to the proposed works. All proposed works will align with the recommendations contained within the SoHI.This project aligns with the Waverley Park Plan of Management 2023 and demonstrates Council's commitment to both heritage conservation and practical improvements to public amenities.
