The Cable Beach foreshore and beach are a prominent and high-profile location, and destination for tourists from Australia and around the World. It is a valued resource to those living in Broome, including those with historical and cultural attachments to the area.The Shire of Broome are delivering a complete redevelopment of the foreshore area in several stages. The works shall improve and enhance the area for both residents and visitors to Broome.Stage 1 of the works are currently under construction and due for completion January 2025. The Shire of Broome is now seeking tenders for the majority of the remaining scope, which is described as ‘Stage 2-.
