Inner West Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Consultants to lead a community engagement program in relation to the Inner West Local Government Area (LGA) Wide Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and accompanying draft Inner West Development Control Plan (DCP).

On the 12th May 2016 Ashfield, Leichhardt and Marrickville councils were merged into a new council, known as the Inner West Council, by the NSW State Government under their reform program for councils. The proclamation from the NSW State Government carries over the codes, plans, strategies and policies of former councils, and makes them the codes, plans, strategies and policies of the new council. This is to ensure that the new council continues to have codes, plans, strategies and policies in place to guide its operation.
