- Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council (the Council) has received financial support from the State Floodplain Management Program, managed by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW), to undertake a Flood warning system review for the township of Cootamundra.CGRC are seeking quotations for the review of the existing Flood Warning System, and identify improvements to the Flood Warning System for Cootamundra. Review current flood warning system in relation to trigger levels, maintenance requirements, messaging and recipients. Conduct a high level assessment of alternative flood warning systems.
