Description:
Geoscience Australia, under the Positioning Australia Program, seeks industry partners to provide services for its GNSS ground station network. The project involves maintaining, repairing and upgrading ground stations across Australia to improve network reliability, consistency, and coverage. The successful contractor will support the upkeep and maintenance of these stations, ensuring the delivery of precise positioning information that boosts productivity, community safety, and innovation. Specific Requirements for Suppliers : • Proven experience in GNSS ground stations or similar infrastructure. • Experience installing and commissioning Very-small-aperture-terminal (VSAT) • Capability to provide timely and cost-effective services. • Adequate technical expertise and resources to handle unforeseen maintenance issues. • Ability to ensure network reliability, consistency, and coverage. • Compliance with all relevant safety and operational standards. • Strong communication and reporting skills to provide updates and feedback to Geoscience Australia.
