- Mackay Regional Council (Council) is looking to establish a register of pre-qualified suppliers for the provision of engineering, planning and associated professional services.Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified businesses, with the necessary capacity and capability, to a register of pre-qualified suppliers for engineering, planning and associated professional services (Panel). On establishment, the Panel will be used as required, to assist Council in the delivery of projects.Council-s infrastructure and assets include but are not limited to:• Roads• Stormwater structures• parks, playground, gardens and cemeteries• footpaths• water supply systems including pump stations and reservoirs• sewer reticulation systems including pump stations & sewage treatment plants• bridges & major culverts• entertainment facilities• libraries• waste services• quarries• landfill sitesSuppliers who are pre-qualified under a Local Buy Consultancy service arrangement are not required to tender for this register of pre-qualified suppliers, however, Council-s register of pre-qualified suppliers will be given preference over Local Buy arrangements.
