- The department is seeking information through this RFI in relation to a proposal to support multiple purchasing partners who would identify, purchase, protect and manage land of high biodiversity value. It is intended that purchasing partners would be responsible for : • Identifying and nominating properties suitable for purchasing. • Seeking departmental approval for an ABP funding contribution for the purchase of each particular property. • Undertaking purchasing and protection of the properties approved by the department. • Ensuring long-term management of the approved properties to maintain or enhance biodiversity values.
