- Description of Requirements UNICEF Supply Division is requesting Expressions of Interest from eligible manufacturers and suppliers in preparation for a planned solicitation exercise to establish Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) for the supply of Essential Medical Equipment across the following categories: Sterilization, Medical Lighting, Suction, Infusion, Respiratory Support, Patient Monitoring & Diagnostics, Ultrasound Imaging, Surgical and Anaesthesia Equipment, Emergency Resuscitation, and Neonatal Care Equipment. Potential Suppliers This REoI is addressed to manufacturers and suppliers with experience in sourcing, manufacturing, or supplying medical equipment. Only suppliers and manufacturers with a Quality Management System in conformity with at least one of the following standards are invited to express interest: Manufacturers: ISO 13485 Suppliers: ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 Only products with at least one of the following pre-market approvals / market clearances will be considered in the planned solicitation exercise: (a) European Union: CE marking under applicable European Union medical device regulations; (b) USA: Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance; (c) Canada: Health Canada approval; (d) Japan: Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) approval; (e) Australia: Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approval.
