The Department Of Justice Requires A Suitable Organisation, In Consultation With The Wa Police Force, To Undertake The Removal Of Deceased Persons Within The Perth Metropolitan Area To The State Mortuary.The Provision Of Body Removal Services Is A Legal Requirement Pursuant To The Coroner&Rsquo;S Act 1996 (The Act). The Services Will Be For The Transfer Of Deceased Persons Under The Direction And Control Of A Coroner From The Perth Metropolitan Area To The State Mortuary Located At The Queen Elizabeth Ii Medical Centre, Nedlands, Perth Western Australia, And Repatriation If Necessary.The Perth Metropolitan Area Is Set Out In The Metropolitan Region Scheme. The Area Stretches From Two Rocks In The North To Singleton In The South And East To The Lakes.
