Details of the site inspection will be advised in the email and letters to tenderers.The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Flexi-space at UranganSHS, located at 120 Robert Street, Hervey Bay QLD 4655, as part of the Flexi-space program.The area of works involves internal refurbishment of two classrooms including wall coverings, carpets, electrical, ceiling andsections of windows. The external area of works includes construction of a new outdoor learning area adjoining the classroomswith screening and outdoor seating. The position of the building is on the northern end of the school campus with limited siteaccess and working space. All works are to be completed by July 2025.Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity InsuranceIt is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders- licence will be required for this project. Contractors are requiredto hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.Submissions close on 09/04/2025 at 3:00pm via email to tenders@honeywill.com.au
