Description:
Backgroundas Part Of The Radio Systems Replacement Project, The Low Voltage (Lv) Infrastructure Is Required To Be Upgraded At Just Under 100 Sites. Across The Metropolitan Railway Network.Approximately 70 Sites Required Minor Changes, Including New Circuit Breakers, And Is Being Delivered Under Pta230245approximately 15 Sites Require Moderate Upgrades, Including Modifications To Existing Switchboards. These Are Being Delivered Under Pta240054.Seven Sites Require Major Upgrades, With New Switchboards And Isolation Transformers, As Well As Upgrades To The Incoming Western Power (Wp) Supply. This Is Being Delivered Under This Rft.Scope Of Worksthe Scope Of Works Is To Undertake The Construction Of Major Upgrades To Pta Lv Infrastructure At Seven (7) Sites Across The Metropolitan Rail Network. At A High Level, The Works Will Involve:Supply And Construct New Foundations For Switchboards And Isolation Transformersinstallation Of New Switchboards And Isolation Transformers (Free Issued By Principalsupply And Construct New Pit And Pipe Systems (Where Required)Supply And Install Final Subcircuits Including Outlets (Where Required)Undertaking The Customer Scope Of Works In Relation To The Western Power Supply Upgrades (Where Required)Test And Commission (Including Cutover) Of Lv Systemremove And Dispose Of Redundant Lv Infrastructureupdate Relevant Documentation And Produce Electrical Safety Certificatesmore Details Are Provided In The Scope Of Works And Technical Requirements (Book 4).Note To Respondents: To Ensure All Works Required Under This Request Are Completed, A Singular Contractor Or Multiply Contractors May Be Award A Single Or Multiply Separable Portions.This Request For Tender Will Be Released With The Preliminary Designs. Approved Issued For Construction Designs Will Be Provided Via An Addendum Prior To The Tender Closure Date.
