The Public Transport Authority Of Western Australia (Pta) Intends To Implement A Standardised Psychometric Testing Regime To Support The Recruitment And Selection Of Safety-Critical And Other Designated High-Risk Roles Across The Organisation. Governance And Requirements For This Regime Are Documented In The Pta Standards For Use Of Psychometric Testing In Recruitment & Selection. Integrating Psychometric Testing Into Recruitment And Selection Processes Will Improve The Pta&Rsquo;S Ability To Objectively Assess A Candidate&Rsquo;S Potential For Future Success. This Includes Evaluating Technical Ability, Non-Technical Skills, And Personal Attributes Relevant To Safety-Critical And High-Risk Operational Roles.
