Description:
The Tanami Road Project Involves The Construction Of 314Km Of New Sealed Road Between Great Northern Highway And The Wa/Nt Border In The Shire Of Halls Creek. The Project Is Being Delivered By Main Roads Kimberley Region By Direct Management To Maximise Local And Aboriginal Engagement In The Delivery Of The Project. The Project Is Being Delivered In Stages With Stage 1 (Slk 0 To 40) Currently Under Construction And Stage 2 (Slk 40 To 73) Planned To Commence In 2025. The Works Include The Construction Of Thirty-Four Multi-Barrel Csp And Concrete Box Culverts Between Slk 30 And 73 And 18 Culvert End Treatments To Be Constructed Between Slk 20 And Slk 30, Varying In Size In Size From 900 Mm To 2100 Mm In Diameter.
