Description:
Tafe International Western Australia (Tiwa), A Business Unit Of The Department Of Training And Workforce Development (The Department), Is Responsible For The Marketing To And Admission Of International Students Entering Western Australian (Wa) Tafe Colleges And Wa Government Schools. Tiwa Confirms Welfare Arrangements For Over 150 International Students Per Year. In Addition To Homestay Services, These Students Are Also Required To Be Met Upon First Arrival To Australia And Transported To Their Accommodation.The Department Is Seeking To Engage A Suitable Provider For The Provision Of Homestay And Airport Pickup Services For International Students Through Tiwa.While The Contractor May Seek To Subcontract The Airport Pickup Services, The Responsibility For The Provision And Management Of These Services Remains Wholly With The Contractor. The Contractor Is Required To Manage And Provide The Following Services For The Overseas Students Enrolled Through Tiwa:A. Perth Metropolitan Areahomestay Placement; And/Orairport Pickup Services (Mandatory For Minors).B. Regional Areashomestay Placement Dependent On Enrollments And Demand For This Service.The Services Need To Be Provided On A Year-Round Basis (52 Weeks), Noting The Peak Periods In January/February And June/July Each Year.
