- The Department of Finance administers Comcover, the Australian Government-s self-managed insurance fund. Comcover provides insurance and risk management services to more than 170 Australian Government entity fund members. Comcover delivers its services through engagements with third party providers, who provide specialist services. As part of its comprehensive insurance and risk management services, Comcover provides insurance protection to Travellers and Expatriates of Fund Members, in accordance with the Comcover Statement of Cover. Comcover complements this insurance protection with the provision of Overseas Medical and Travel Assistance Services. Through this Request for Tender, Finance requires a supplier to provide Comcover with the Overseas Medical and Travel Assistance services.
