Description:
The Department is seeking to establish a Contract for Clinical Advice and Assurance Services which will provide Clinical Advisors (including Medical Officers of the Commonwealth and non-Medical Officers of the Commonwealth positions). The successful supplier must develop, implement and manage appropriate health governance arrangements that give effect to and support the delivery of : a) fostering cooperative, coordinated and professional working relationships with the Department, other Health Services Providers, representatives from foreign governments and Government Agencies, non-governmental organisations, or community groups; b) respecting and giving effect to the values of medical impartiality, clinical autonomy and collaborative service delivery; c) promoting and supporting effective management arrangements consistent with the Contract to ensure continuity of Services; and d) establishing and maintaining over the Term access to relevant Clinical Advisors as sufficient and appropriate to deliver the Services required by the Department.
