- Port Drive Provides The Only Road Access To The Port Of Broome. The Current Pavement Has Reached Its End Of Life And Is Showing Signs Of Failure. To Ensure An Adequate Level Of Service For Port Users Into The Future, Kpa Is Proposing To Reconstruct 285M Of Road Pavement Along Port Drive.As Well As The Port Drive Pavement Reconstruction Work, Kpa Is Proposing To Upgrade A Parcel Of Land Adjacent To Port Drive Which Is Currently Utilised As A Truck Staging Area. Kpa Is Proposing To Upgrade This Area To Create Two Bitumen Sealed Traffic Lanes And Two Minor Drainage Basins. The Pavement For These Lanes Will Use The Pavement Material Removed From Port Drive.
