Description:
The intent of this contract is to rehabilitate selected sewer mains to restore both hydraulic capacity and structural integrity of pipelines as applicable. All rehabilitation work is to be carried out by trenchless methods. The Scope of Work required under this specification includes but is not necessarily limited to the following:a) Prepare, submit and gain acceptance of the Construction Management Plans that consist of Safe Work method Statements, Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).b) Clean all identified sewer mains including root removal.c) Inspect the identified sewer systems using CCTV and Visual inspection to confirm the chainage of the junctions. d) Liaise with MidCoast Council through the Project Manager, notify affected residents and carry out all necessary flow control/flow diversions to facilitate repair work.e) Supply acceptable materials and processes to carry out the repairs to the sewer mains. f) Locate positions of live junctions prior to lining and cut-out the junctions post lining and reinstate the junctions. Junctions are to be reinstated by robotic cutter.
