Description:
Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Civil Contractors to submit tenders for this package of Natural Disaster Reconstruction Works. These works consist of sealed and unsealed road repairs, earthworks and civil drainage works. It is anticipated that the works will commence in the first quarter of 2025 and be completed by no later than the end of July 2025Prospective Tenderers should be aware that access to Palm Island is via barge, ferry and air services and should familiarise themselves with the available services prior to submission of tenders.It is recommended that Tenderers who do not have recent construction experience on Palm Island make arrangements to visit in person during the Tender period and reflect their observations in their Methodologies.
