Project Background - 3 Landslip sites (Part A)To restore the Nepean River Walk to its former glory and prevent future damage, a comprehensive engineering solution is proposed: the installation of gabion retaining walls. These robust structures, ranging from two to four meters in height, will provide essential support to the eroded slopes and effectively mitigate the risk of further landslides. Part A would ideally need to be completed prior to bridge and footpath restoration works (part B). Please ensure this is reflected in your methodology and program of works.Project Background: Peachtree Creek Boardwalk Bridge Repair (Part B)The existing boardwalk bridge across Peachtree Creek, situated adjacent to the Nepean River weir, has sustained significant damage due to recent severe storm events. This project aims to repair the damaged gabion supports and restore the bridge to its original condition.
