Description:
This Feasibility Study is aimed at investigating flood mitigation options for the upgrade of a portion or all of the levee which protects the Narrandera Airport, and consideration to include constructing several lengths of additional levees in the vicinity of Nallabooma Estate and from the existing Airport levee along Paynters Siding Road to the Main Canal. This option is intended to protect both the Airport and existing Nallabooma Estate properties, including the section of Irrigation Way that connects the Airport to the main town, in riverine flood events up to and including the 1% AEP event.
