Description:
Byron Shire Council is seeking quotations from qualified manufacturers for the construction of a mobile wash station. This infrastructure is required to manage the washing of reusable cups, crockery, and other food and drink items to significantly reduce single-use waste at events. The mobile wash station will travel to event sites, providing on-the-spot washing services to ensure that reusable items are cleaned to a high standard and ready for reuse during and after events. The mobile wash station may take the form of a trailer / truck / van or any other proposed form suitable to deliver the desired outcome.

Byron Shire is a local government area located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. The shire is located adjacent to the Tasman Sea about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of the Queensland border. The shire, administered from the town of Mullumbimby, covers an area of 566.7 square kilometres (218.8 sq mi), and has existed as a local government entity since 1906.
