Description:
Coral Sseeding device technology has evolved over the last decade. Using seeding devices as an intervention method provides critical operational and process benefits compared to larval cloud releases in that the coral spat can be deployed directly in a traget location. This allows for better monitoring and more control of the community composition of restored corals. There are currently two versions of the coral seeding device that will be depolyed on the Great Barrier Reef in significant numbers in late 2025. This tender seeks a manufacturer that can supply pricing for both 90% and 95% fully sintered alumina oxide (aluminium oxide) coral seeding devices to design specifications supplied by AIMS. 200 000 Version 1 devices are required to be delivered to AIMS no later that the 01/10/2025 22 500 Version 2 devices are required to be delivered to AIMS no later than the 01/08/2025 Production samples are to be recieved, for approval, no later that the 09/05/2024
