Description:
The scope of works includes Castlemaine, Harcourt, Maldon and Newstead and District Swimming Pools. The successful operator will need to;• Provide suitably qualified staff to manage and operate the swimming pools, ensuring there is the required number of qualified lifeguards to supervise swimming and activities at the each pool.• Undertake planning of the annual outdoor pool season inline with specifications.• Ensure sound financial management of the swimming pools, complying with all relevant laws. This includes the preparing annual budgets for each swimming pool.• Undertake marketing to promote the swimming pools and the programs or events thought the season.• Undertake management and delivery of programs, activities and events at the swimming pools.• Ensure a safe environment for staff and the public is provided at each swimming pool in line with relevant legislations, acts and guidelines.• Undertake customer engagement with patrons and the community regarding the swimming pools.• Undertake maintenance where required on assets at the swimming pools in line with the specifications and relevant appendices.• Provide reports to Council on the operations of the swimming pools.MANDATORY SITE VISITSCommencing at 10am, Friday 28 February 2025Site visit will commence at Castlemaine Swimming Pool, Lake Augusta Lane Castlemaine then visit Harcourt Maldon and Newstead Swimming Pool sites.Please RSVP your attendance via email to procurement@mountalexander.vic.gov.au by midday, Thursday...
