Pathwest Laboratory Medicine Wa (Pathwest) Requires The Provision Of Liquid Chromatography Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry (Lc Msms) System(S) For Its Department Of Biochemistry. The Department Of Biochemistry Utilises Lc Msms Systems Across Multiple Laboratory Units, With Lc Msms Systems Being Applied To The Testing Of Drug Screening, Drug Confirmation, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Newborn Bloodspot Screening, Diagnostic, Amino Acids, Steroid Analysis And Developmental Work. Lc Msms Systems Are Required For The Following Categories:Category 1 &Ndash; Biochemical Genetics And Newborn Screeningcategory 2 &Ndash; Pharmacology And Toxicologycategory 3 &Ndash; Special Chemistryin Addition To The Equipment, The Supply Of Associated Consumables, Training And Optional Post-Warranty Service And Maintenance Form Part Of This Request. Note: Reagents Do Not Form Part Of This Request. Pathwest Will Consider Awarding A Single Contractor For Each Category Or Awarding A Panel Of Contractors Per Category To Meet The Workflow And Sensitivity Requirements For Each Category / Laboratory Unit.The Head Agreement Established As A Result Of This Request Will Constitute A Standing Offer, Whereby Customers Can Place Orders On An &Lsquo;As Required&Rsquo; Basis During The Term.It Is Anticipated That Approximately Six (6) Systems (Across All Categories) May Be Required During The Head Agreement Term (Subject To Funding Availability). However, Pathwest Makes No Guarantees Regarding The Quantity Of Orders That Will Be Placed On The Resultant Contract.
