- Key objectives of this study include:Quantify existing flood risk.Assess current resilience of existing infrastructure.Engage stakeholders and capture community risk.Develop upgrade concepts and cost estimates.Create a multi-criteria prioritisation framework.Review the existing resilience level of each aerodrome and make recommendations for the future resilience level to become more aligned with CASA MOS 139 safety standards, projected climate conditions and NT aerodrome investment planning.Produce study outcomes in a format that can inform long-term aerodrome investment planning by the NT government.The project will identify infrastructure limitations at NTG-maintained remote aerodromes, resilience improvement opportunities and prioritise upgrades for future budget bids. Upgrades will increase the resilience and serviceability levels of aerodromes.
