Swan Hill Rural City Council (Council) is seeking a strategic vision for the future of the Ken Harrison Recreation Reserve, leading to 2050 to guide its development and management. The plan should consider the needs of the community and commit to balance the needs of different user groups, while also protecting the natural environment and cultural values of the reserve. To reflect the evolving needs of the community and the growth expectations brought about by a developing residential precinct in the southwest of the Swan Hill township, the opportunity to develop Ken Harrison Recreation Reserve into a highly-used, accessible, fit for purpose and well-appointed reserve has been identified.
